Over the last several months, I have had the opportunity to work with Elvis, Jose, and Ricardo at Skytop Construction Inc., and I can't say enough good things about them. In February, my house developed ice dams on the roof, and water began coming through the ceilings in both my living room and dining room. I called about a dozen companies looking for someone to remove the snow from my roof, but luckily, the only company that returned my call was Skytop Construction. After spending an entire day clearing roofs for other homeowners, Elvis and his team still made time to come to my house that evening. Even though it was already dark, they kept their word and showed up exactly as promised. We agreed to wait until the next morning to do the work safely, and sure enough, the Skytop team arrived at 7:00 a.m. sharp. They cleared the snow from my roof, cleaned out my gutters, and immediately stopped any additional water from entering my home. It was an incredible relief to know the roof was cleared and that no more water was coming into the house. At that point, I assumed I would need to find someone else to repair the damage inside my home. To my surprise, Skytop handled that too! Over the next few weeks, Jose helped me through the process of submitting a claim to my insurance company for reimbursement. We hired Ricardo and Jose to repair animal damage to the flashing on our chimney and attic vents, and pipe boots, as well as to install gutter guards. I had a great experience with Skytop Construction. They were very personable and easy to work with, and they got the job done efficiently. My garage roof was in really bad shape, with severe rot and even a hole, but they repaired everything. They replaced the damaged wood, installed a new rubber roof, and added a barrier layer. The finished roof looks great and feels like a huge improvement from what was there before. What really stood out to me was how well they cleaned up after the project—there was no construction debris left behind. With other roofing companies, I’ve found nails in my yard afterward, which is always frustrating, but that wasn’t the case here at all. Overall, I’m very happy with the work and would definitely recommend them.
